Liga Española is the Spanish top division in professional association football. It has been present from every PES edition since PES 4, where the separate league system was first introduced. From PES 2009 to PES 2011, the Spanish League was unlicensed, leaving a few clubs with license. PES 2013 was the only PES edition to include all 20 home stadiums of the Spanish League.

The Spanish Segunda División was added in PES 2015 and was licensed for another year. PES 2017 was the first to introduced an unlicensed Spanish Second Division.
